Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service govern the use of BarkTalkAI service (the "Service") provided by slowxt (the "Company"), defining the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of both the Company and users.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- "Service" refers to the BarkTalkAI mobile application and related services provided by the Company.
- "User" refers to anyone who accesses and uses the Service in accordance with these Terms.
- "Member" refers to a User who has registered for an account.
- "Content" refers to text, images, analysis results, DBTI result cards, and other materials within the Service.
Article 3 (Effectiveness and Changes to Terms)
- These Terms apply to all Users of the Service.
- The Company may modify these Terms as necessary and will announce changes through in-app notifications.
- Members who do not agree with modified Terms may discontinue use and delete their account.
Notice Period for Changes
- General changes: 7 days before effective date
- Changes unfavorable to users: 30 days before effective date with individual notification
Article 4 (Service Description)
The Company provides the following services:
- AI Sound Analysis: Record and analyze dog sounds using AI to suggest possible emotional states
- DBTI Personality Test: 60-question survey for dog behavioral type analysis (16 types)
- Share Card Creation: Generate shareable image cards with DBTI results
- Statistics & Insights: Provide statistical information about sound analysis records
Article 5 (Registration)
- Registration is processed through social login (Kakao, Naver, Google).
- Registration may be restricted in the following cases:
- Under 14 years old (ages 14-16 require parental consent)
- Previously restricted due to Terms violations
- False information provided
Article 6 (User Obligations)
Users must not engage in the following activities:
- Unauthorized use of others' personal or pet information
- Using the Service for illegal purposes
- Interfering with normal Service operations
- Infringing on the Company's intellectual property
- Causing harm to other users
- Other activities that violate applicable laws
Article 7 (Service Use Restrictions)
The Company may restrict Service use in the following cases:
- Violation of obligations in Article 6
- Interference with Service operations
- Fraudulent use of the Service
Users will be notified in advance of restrictions; in urgent cases, restrictions may be applied first with subsequent notification.
Article 8 (Service Changes and Suspension)
- The Company may change all or part of the Service as operationally or technically necessary.
- Service changes will be announced 7 days in advance within the app.
- The Service may be temporarily suspended due to force majeure such as natural disasters or system failures.
⚠️ Service Termination
- At least 30 days advance notice via app and email
- Users can export their data before termination
Article 9 (Account Deletion)
- Members may delete their account at any time through app settings.
- Upon deletion, personal information and usage records will be processed according to the Privacy Policy.
- Re-registration with the same account is possible, but previous data cannot be recovered.
Article 10 (Intellectual Property)
- Copyright and intellectual property rights for all content in the Service, including AI models, designs, logos, text, and images, belong to the Company.
- Users may freely share DBTI result cards they create for personal use.
- No part of the Service may be reproduced, distributed, or modified without prior approval from the Company.
Article 11 (Disclaimers)
⚠️ Important Notice
- AI analysis aims for approximately 97% accuracy but does not guarantee 100% accuracy.
- Analysis results are for reference only and do not replace professional veterinary consultation.
- Medical decisions based on analysis results should always be made in consultation with professionals.
The Company is not liable for:
- Service interruptions due to force majeure (natural disasters, war, terrorism, etc.)
- Service issues caused by user negligence
- Issues with third-party services (social login, etc.)
- Results from interpretation or use of AI analysis results
Article 12 (Liability)
- If the Company or User causes damage to the other party by violating these Terms, compensation is limited to cases of intentional or negligent conduct.
- The Company is not liable for damages related to free service use unless there is intentional or gross negligence by the Company.
Article 13 (Dispute Resolution)
- Disputes related to Service use shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- Lawsuits between the Company and Users shall be filed with the court having jurisdiction over the Company's location.
- Parties shall first attempt to resolve disputes through mutual consultation.
Article 14 (Miscellaneous)
Matters not specified in these Terms shall follow applicable laws and the Company's Privacy Policy.
